After five years in development, EYRES has released the ANAMORPHIXX collection. EYRES 21-year history has been rooted in occupational safety eyewear but with the release of ANAMORPHIXX it marks a broader application of the brand’s eyewear products.

A significant proportion of the ANAMORPHIXX collection has been inspired by sport and active lifestyles. Although there is a frame for every situation and face shape, devoted athletes will be particularly excited by the versatility of the EYRES modular models within the range.
The design foundation of the modular system is based on the notion of owning a single pair of spectacles. Each modular model has a set of related components which include prescription and Plano lenses, straps, face foam, hard cases, performance Rx inserts, and contact lens containers that are used to adapt to any given environment.
INCREASE PLAY TIME
For a sportsperson, time spent fumbling around trying to find the most appropriate pair of glasses is time that could be spent enjoying their favorite sport. The modular system allows the versatility of modification to suit specific purposes or specific sports with the ability to:
- Switch lens types from Rx to Plano
- Change lens tints to suit lighting conditions
- Convert into goggles by adding a strap and ventilated face foam
- Lock in a performance Rx insert
- Apply a protective lens shield
- Contain it all in a protective hard case for ease of access
Key modular accessories are available individually or in a value-added accessory bundle. Bundles include the Seabird, Easy Rider and SAS. Contents of each bundle vary depending on the wearer’s level of eyewear requirements.
INTERCHANGEABLE LENSES
EYRES’ distinctive modular frame system also boasts the added flexibility of interchangeable lenses to adapt to varying light conditions. The EYRES lens collection is comprised of high quality prescription ANAMORPHIXX lenses and Plano Specific Purpose Sunlenses (SPS).
Prescription ANAMORPHIXX lenses are made of NXT lens material, a compound that was originally developed by the military. NXT is a lens material that offers a supreme level of protection that has revolutionised prescription sports eyewear. ANAMORPHIXX prescription lenses provide unmatched visual clarity and high colour contrast, due to the confined tint casting technology used to tint NXT lens material. The result is an even tint as opposed to traditional dip tinting methods, which is particularly valuable during high intensity physical activity when fast reaction time is paramount.
EYRES SPS lenses enable maximum versatility and comfort to the wearer. EYRES offers eleven different Plano SPS lens tints to choose from, which all utilise similar confined tint casting technology as the NXT lens material. Each SPS lens is designed for a specific purpose or lighting condition. This is especially beneficial for active people who enjoy both indoor and outdoor sports, where choosing the most appropriate eyewear is merely a single step alteration to an EYRES modular frame.
Both prescription ANAMORPHIXX and Plano SPS lenses are premium quality lenses that are tested and quality assured by EYRES’ onsite d’Arassus laboratory.
